The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow Game Review

Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman is writing a publication on the barrows of England that documents her discoveries of treasures within. A mysterious letter invites her to the small village of Bewlay hidden in the remote countryside she takes off on a train and her assistant to leave to spend the day in Bewlay.
The mysterious person who called her to help is missing upon her arrival. Her assistant never arrives. A stubborn landowner refuses access to the barrow, and even the residents are wary of this woman who is travelling on her own in her own vehicle and (gasp!) wears trousers.
Hob’s Barrow excavation is off in a rough starting point. Thomasina finds herself having strange dreaming…
